Passion, quality, only natural ingredients, innovation founded on more than 300 years of story behind… BANKES is a top quality London Dry Gin, a unique innovative blending revisiting very traditional England made distillates meticulously obtained according to over 300 years old recipes.
The distillates are obtained by re-distilling in traditional copper-made pot stills, neutral spirit infused with a subtle blend of 10 different botanicals sourced from all over the world, including Juniper berries, Coriander seeds, Orange and Lemon peels, blended together and enriched with essential notes coming from other roots and exotic spices. Every year each individual botanical is carefully selected for its unique quality.
Distillates come from England, the home of London Dry Gin by traditional Gin Distillers at the Langley Distillery in Birmingham.
The Langley Distillery, one of the most acknowledged and prized distilleries in England, is managed by over 30 years experienced Master Distillers who look at distillation process as an handicraft art. The meeting of Master Distiller with Campari’s experiences have further developed this Gin with citrus tones to give that “special something”, a subtle combination of quality ingredients, methodology, “nose” and experience.
BANKES is unique. The distillates method of production, blend of botanicals and selection of batches are all very personal to London Dry Gin of true character. Family traditions over 150 years old are testament to the honesty of this individual Gin. Furthermore the innovative blending of different traditional distillate recipes into BANKES recipe gives a respectful personal twist on sensorial experiences.
Old traditional well-proven copper pot stills are used (Jenny, 18 yo and Angela 108 yo), which have the reputation of making the best London Dry Distilled Gins. To get the best out of selected botanicals, the distillation process starts with an individual marinating process that involves many hours of the botanicals mixing with neutral alcohol before distillation commences, as marinating helps to extract the special flavours and characteristics of ingredients.
A crisp gin with gentle citrus overtones and a spicy fruit edge, BANKES can be taken either on its own over ice or without ice if you wish to really appreciate its true flavours. It goes particularly well with tonic water and other mixers.
A LIP-SMACKING SKIN CONTACT MOSCHOFILERO
Floral with powdered sugar and blood orange that entice on the nose. Citrus notes and fresh acidity add vibrancy to the palate.

Dark red – purple colour and fragrances of gooseberry and pomegranate. A slightly oily flavour with velvety tannins, yet leaving a delectable hint of butter caramel
A BRUT CL ASSIC METHOD VINTAGE
Golden yellow color, very fine perlage, with a good crown, rich and persistent. The scent is very pleasant, expresses a set of intense scents, such as vanilla, yeast and ripe fruit. The taste is intense, with good fragrance, a balance of all the senses in the mouth and a very long, rich and persistent finish.
EXCITING PINK BUBBLES
Pink, clear and transparent with orange reflections. The perlage is soft, fine and persistent. The scent is broad, enveloping, with hints of rose reminiscent of red grapes, cherries, fresh yeasts and bread crust. The taste is dry, fruity, with good structure. On the palate it is full, with good intensity, the aftertaste is long and persistent, proposes floral and red berry fruits such as prunes and blackberries.
FRUIT. JUICY & SWEET
A fresh, light-bodied dessert wine which opens with classic Moscato aromas of sage, exotic fruit and yellow stone fruit.
The frothy palate delivers apricot, yellow peach and a hint of honey alongside mouthwatering acidity.

INTENSE AND PERSISTANT
The color is garnet red with ruby reflections. The aroma is intense and persistent with distinct traces of fruit, wild rose and spices. The taste is full and vigorous and yet harmonious and balanced with soft, delicate tannins.

This year’s Classic Cut release has an ABV of 51.2% chosen by our whisky maker as the optimum strength to reveal a dominant sweetness and the well balanced flavours of this whisky. To intensify the flavour experience, pour and allow it to breathe for 10-15 minutes. After this time, heightened flavours of citrus, sweet vanilla and spice come to the forefront, combined with a satisfyingly long dry oak finish. Classic Cut 2018 is a truly indulgent single malt whisky.
The pinnacle of the Glenrothes new range is this decadent 25 Year Old, which was awarded the Chairman’s Trophy at the 2018 Ultimate Spirits Challenge. Aged in mostly first-fill sherry-seasoned casks, it has notes of tropical fruits, coriander seed and salted caramel.
