Kwak

Kwak

Kwak beer originates from the 18th century, when well-known brewer Pauwel Kwak brewed his very own dark and heavy beer. The story behind this Belgium beer is that during Kwak’s time, coach drives were forbidden to drink beer with their passengers and so were not allowed to leave their coach to have a drink. Pauwel Kwak created a special glass that would be fixed to the carriage, from which the driver could enjoy a Kwak beer. This deep, amber coloured beer, has earthy aromas accompanied by red fruits, a liquorice touch, and a warm, herby finish.
